Heres my answer:
I would take the bullet.
I'd much rather die knowing that I stood up for what I believed in, what was right for me, and know that I had the courage to stand up for myself. I wouldn't let them have the pleasure of watching me crumple to the ground and give in, then live my life knowing I'm a coward with no spine. These X's on my hands are here forever, here to stay. I won't let a threat shoot me down, and I won't let anything stand in the way of what I believe in. Straight Edge to me is not a label, it's a way of life and a belief to hold on to. I don't need alcohol to make me have a better time, or even to fill an empty void in my life. I don't need pills to make the pain stop for a few hours. I don't need weed to make me light headed and hungry. I don't need heroin to inject into my blood. I don't need cocaine or speed to make me jittery or spastic. I don't need cigarettes to calm me down. I don't need society to tell me that it's ok to get drunk and wasted. I like to remember the night before and the fun I had. I like who I am and I don't need a false perception to tell me otherwise.
